PetVesta connects pet parents with trusted care partners for services like pet sitting, dog walking, boarding, grooming, training, and more. This page explains what we do to keep that experience safe, clear, and dependable.

Our commitment to you

We believe you should feel confident every time you book — whether it’s a one-time walk or regular care. That means verified partners, transparent pricing before you confirm, secure payments, and support when you need it.

How we vet our partners

Every partner shown on PetVesta goes through checks before they can accept bookings. We don’t list partners until they meet our quality standards.

• Profile verification — identity and business details are reviewed before a partner goes live
• Service quality checks — we assess experience, service scope, and platform readiness
• Ongoing monitoring — partner ratings, reviews, and booking behaviour help us maintain standards
• PetVesta Verified — select partners carry a verified badge on their profile when they meet additional trust criteria

We continuously review partner activity. Partners who fall short of our standards may be paused or removed from the platform.

What we do before you book

Safety starts before the first visit. Here’s what PetVesta puts in place on every booking flow:

• Clear service details — see what’s included, duration, and pricing before you confirm
• Partner profiles — read descriptions, view photos, and check reviews from other pet parents
• Pet profile sharing — your pet’s details (breed, age, needs, instructions) are shared with the partner so care is personalised and informed
• Service area check — we match you with partners available in your location
• Secure checkout — payments are processed through Razorpay; we don’t store your full card details on our servers

During the service

Once a booking is confirmed, you stay in control:

• Confirmed booking details — date, time, service type, and partner information are available in your account
• Updates from partners — many partners share photos and activity updates during the service
• Direct communication — coordinate arrival, access, and special instructions with your assigned partner
• Emergency situations — for urgent needs, contact your partner immediately; selected partners also offer emergency care where available in your area

Cancellations & rescheduling

Plans change — we get it. You can manage bookings from your account. Cancellation and rescheduling options depend on the service type, how close you are to the scheduled time, and the partner’s policy. Always review the terms shown at checkout before confirming.

Your role in keeping pets safe

Before the visit

• Keep your pet profile accurate — allergies, medications, behaviour notes, and vet contact
• Share clear access instructions (gate codes, leash location, feeding routine)
• Inform the partner about any aggression, anxiety, or medical conditions

On the day

• Ensure your pet is reachable and identifiable (collar, tag, or microchip details where possible)
• Keep emergency contacts updated in your profile
• Be available by phone during the service window

The more accurate your information, the safer and smoother the experience for everyone — especially your pet.

If something goes wrong

We’re here to help. If you have a safety concern, service issue, or payment dispute, follow these steps:

1. Document what happened — note the date, time, booking ID, and any photos or messages
2. Contact us — reach out via our Help Centre or Contact page with your booking details
3. We investigate — our team reviews the report and coordinates with the partner where needed
4. Resolution — depending on the case, we may offer support, account action on the partner, or guidance on next steps per our policies

For immediate danger to a person or animal, contact local emergency services first, then notify us as soon as it’s safe to do so.

Privacy & data safety

We handle your personal information responsibly. Details on what we collect, how we use it, and your rights are in our Privacy Policy. Booking and payment data are used only to deliver and improve our services.
